When they say the incidence has gone up 315%, apparently the new grand total is...191. Just because it's a big increase does not necessarily mean it's a big amount. That is approximately 0.6% of all families apprehended at the borders. Big deal.
A colossal amount of obfuscation and blind repetition going on by those who wish to portray the immigrants as evil or being used by evil (such as Nielsen and Trump for example) instead of what most of them are, impoverished and fleeing from horrific and violent conditions in their home countries.
