Mandates and premiums - Deb

Posted: Jun 12th, 2018 - 1:52 am In Reply to: Nope, sorry. Has nothing to do with the mandates. It has - to do with having to cover everything

This is what group insurance is, always has been...the healthy in the group, who rarely rack up large costs, cover those who are less well and have more medical costs. The talk now is about eliminating preexisting conditions (I believe), and who knows what else? So, how far back (for people who have ACA) will new mandates go date-wise to no longer cover PECs?

I'm looking at many of us in this profession who are no longer benefited employees, with many looking at ICs in all sorts of fields, (and who may not have a spouse who gets medical insurance, either), and it scares the bejeepers out of me.
