Murphy's Oil Soap - bees, ants and fleas

Posted: May 23rd, 2018 - 11:11 pm In Reply to: I would call a beekeeper for advice. - SM

Wipe counters with dilute soap solution, no ants. Spray stronger solution where bees hang out, or soak a sock or rag and put it where they're nesting. They hate it and I've seen it knock a bee down in mid air. Use it in carpet cleaning machine, no fleas. But very dilute, as it has citronella and that's not great for cats. We discovered this when my daughter washed down a paneled wall with it and we found a huge heap of dead ants in the basement underneath right afterward. Don't put it on cats.
