Big Pharma didn't want competition of supplement to encroach on their turf.

John McPharma was adamant that supplements should be made illegal. I think it languished someplace and never came into being but John McPharma gave it his best shot.

Think about that. You need a Rx for vitamins. The media's sudden love for John McCain is only because he hates Trump.
