The universal inherent sin nature of man is spoken about throughout the Bible.
We are given free will to do, believe, think, and say as we want. However, we can't create our own truths.
"Every way of a man in right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the hearts." Proverbs 21:2
"For the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God. For it is written, 'He catches the wise in their own craftiness,' and again, 'The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.'" 1 Corinthians 3:19-20
