There is a lot of activity on the MT FB pages. I think MTStars and the anonymous nasty posters pretty much drove a great many MTs away. On FB, these posters aren't anonymous and are usually deleted from a group if they start spouting venomous replies.
I found MTStars a few years before FB took off, and there were usually well over 1000 posters on the site at any given time. Once the environment of the industry started to change, the tone of many of the posts did, too. Posts accusing happy MTs of being suits, cheerleaders, spies, etc., were prolific, which I believe discouraged many MTs from posting.
I come to MTStars every day just to read a few posts, but I mostly frequent the FB pages. Much friendlier, supportive sources than what MTStars has become.
