perhaps if you sent a prayer of gratefulness instead of asking for something only when you are in need, he would respond to you. If you only pray when you are troubled, that does not help you any either. And the Lord answers in his own time, not ours. Sometimes he does not give us what we ask for because it is not what we need, only what we want. If you lose your faith so quickly because your prayers were not answered the way you expected, you may need to learn a new way of connection. He provides for me in ways I never expected, but I have endured some sorrows too and asked for things that always ended up being the worst for me. I am glad he did not answer those prayers now. Ask for direction. He will guide you to what is best, if you trust him.
