So very many of us are Christians, left and right. Our constitution says nothing about God, Jesus, or Christianity. It does mention a man's "creator" once, which can mean anything to anyone. Don't paint everyone with one brush. I do not demand that the POTUS or anyone else in government have Christian values. Be honest is not the same thing as Christian values. Church and government should be separate. That said, honesty, being trustworthy, and political knowledge and experience are values I do look for. Even though I am "middle-left," I do realize, as you all do from posts here, that those values are hard to find on either side of the isle these days. It is hard to discuss/debate anything political because of that single paint brush. People on both sides should agree to disagree, rather than think they are passing judgment when they bring up religion. I believe to be patriotic you are FOR the country, but not always being FOR the leader of the country does not make you unpatriotic. There is a distinct difference.
