We're all born sinners, right? It is only because of the love and grace of God that perfect atonement for our sin has been made.

As far as nonbelievers mocking us and hoping that we lose our faith, we know that now nothing can separate us from the love of God. He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Let them come. If only one person makes the decision to put his trust in the Lord Jesus, then all the insults in the world are worth it.

While we were yet sinners He died for us. Now, with Christ living in us, we are free to love those still in spiritual darkness.
