Actually, the 2nd amendment would have us believe that anyone should be able to own a gun. Yes, literally ANYONE.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Now let's talk interpretation.
* If you're really "all for the second amendment" where do you see "people with mental illness shouldn't have guns?"
* In what way does the NRA's belief that "anyone should be able to own a gun" contradict what's in the 2nd amendment?
I've thought about what you said and it's not making sense. Please explain.
