question is if all that is true, then why are people making excuses for what this administration/Trump is doing?

The article I posted wasn't highlighting the abuse claims, it was talking about why this administration ignored the claims and let this man, along with so many others in the White House, work with highly sensitive information without the proper clearances.

Just an observation, but it seems you addressed the woman foaming at the mouth about this in the same manner you claim others were about the issues you brought up. Did you also mention to her that you thought what this administration is doing is also wrong or did you just address what you said? Just something to think about.
