Hillary Clinton shut women up and had what was called a "Bimbo Eruption" plan to keep these women quiet. She has no clue.
I also brought up the slush fund used by Congress to pay off sexual harassment claims. She has no clue.
Human character is a complex issue. There are people who were failures as human beings but contributed to making life better for others.
MLK and Oscar Schindler had affairs and were terrible husbands and fathers but they’re public models of moral courage. Picasso burned his wife with cigarettes.
What Rob Porter did his to ex wives isn’t something a decent person should condone or defend, but if we’re going to convict people in the court of public opinion for their personal failings, welcome to the club. It's a long list.
We were told by the press during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal that character doesn't matter, as long as they do their job. What they do otherwise is their own business.
Now of course they’re all doing their 20/20 hindsight thing and saying, “We didn’t realize at the time.” BS, they knew exactly what they were doing.
Look how they made fun of Mike Pence. We don't get many candidates anymore with character in either party.
