Theory:
One way to stop listening and close your mind off to other opinions is to call articles you disagree with "hit pieces;" Even though that article discusses scientific research by academics such as Jonathan Haidt and Jordan Peterson.

Would you say the statement above is true or false?

To continue the discussion, I would ask:
Why take that "hit piece" stand in the first place?

We're all adults here. If you disagree with the topic presented, you can cite the conflicting scientific data that has informed your view. You can also state why you feel the cited data in the "hit piece" is wrong. Why not engage in the discussion?

Instead you choose to make a judgment and throw Jesus into the mix. Why? Do you not want to have a rational discussion of these findings?
