Somewhat Agree - Time marches on

I still read as much or more than I used to but everything has gone digital; my newspaper subscriptions, and 99% of my books are on Kindle. I still use the library but they also offer E-Books now. We still have a local newspaper with daily delivery for people who prefer that and it's available on newsstands. A newspaper or magazine does not fold when it goes digital; they still sell subscriptions and people still read. A lot of newspapers use national syndicated columnists for Op-Ed, but many clerical jobs have been eliminated; medical records due to electronic charts and less need for paper, secretarial jobs and things of that nature. It's better for the environment, I suppose and nothing ever stays the same. I wouldn't lump MT with journalism or writing, it's considered tech/professional or clerical.
