Russian Revolution of 1918. - History

Anyone here not familiar with the Red Terror (hopefully you can figure that one out), you need to research this. It was basically a horrific butcher fest.

Some of the many books on this topic in my collection/personal library are from the 1950s and earlier, translated from the original Russian. One interesting little-known fact about that revolution is that recent/new Russian immigrants to the U.S. at the time traveled by ship to Russia to help them set up and organize, and they also participated in the -- well, butchering is the best word I can think of. When it was over, they returned to the U.S.

That was 100 years ago. (Some sources state that it was of 1917, but if you read the actual accounts it was 1918.)

That was also the same year of the Spanish flu pandemic.
