For me, it has nothing to do with politics or protests. Football used to be on twice a week. Now it is on Sun, Mon, Thu, and even Sat during the end of the season and playoffs. I also think the NFL holding games overseas is backfiring. Those in London were almost over by the time I woke up here on the West Coast. IMHO, it's just too much football, the anticipation is gone. I can't be the only one who feels like this.
