It is okay to evaluate a situation and get to the point of admitting...and this is how it affects me or my family. You are allowed to have those feelings, but need to know the difference when presenting opinion on policies'efficacy.
This happens regarding politics, work, family choices....particularly with children. I call it employing tangential thinking. Nothing more irritating than discussing broad national policy than to have someone only respond with "once I knew a guy that," and attempt to refute a position with that one time example.
Oh, and is there a source for the above OP?
