It seems today that serious personal concerns are so much more intense for our family situations and for ourselves. I know quite a few people who are feeling overwhelmed by multiple worries coming from every direction.
I have a brother who is battling with a condition that is serious. I am praying for him and telling him that I love him when I see him or talk to him. I'm keeping the faith and trusting in God's mercy and grace to help him in his time of need.
Your mom, like mine, I know is feeling sadness for her son. A mom's prayers for her child are powerful, though. I really believe God infinitely understands that kind of love and will intervene in that situation. It sounds like you also have a lot of heartache for missing your daughter. Never underestimate the power of your prayers to God for your relationship with her. Even if you think things are beyond hope, that's when God shines through and does His mighty works. He's all about reconciliation. Thank Him for the day when you'll be together again.
I pray that you will stay in perfect peace, knowing and believing in your heart that "with God all things are possible." I'm not quoting those empty platitudes we all cringe at. God's promises are real, His words are true. I encourage you to take them to heart, live and breathe them every day. Put all your expectations in Him. He's big and strong enough to send you ALL the help you need. “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him” (Psalm 62:5, KJV). God bless!!
