My US employer-paid health insurance plan is switching my medications - sm

I received a notice that my insurance is switching me to a cheaper med than what my physician prescribed for me. She prescribed it for me for "off-label" use and it works great for me. The replacement is not known to address this issue. I am not sure what I am supposed to do.

My point is that the US system can be just as discriminatory as the systems in universal care countries, so we have nothing to feel superior about.
