I wasn't talking about affairs. I'm talking about vulgar things past presidents have said to other adults.

Yes, the president is a role model. But the press doesn't treat this president that way. Whatever happened to the Michelle Obama rule? "When they go low you go high." It's a game Trump is happy to play.

I'm saying we should expect the president to speak his mind in private as other presidents have. Plain language, even if vulgar, has a place in that setting. How the press chooses to treat that fact says more about the press than it does about the president.
