Just a few - thoughts on this

I have no doubt these companies given bonuses based on the tax cuts and even the promise under Trump that they would get huge tax cuts. For me, the problem comes when they could have done this before the tax cuts or if there had been no tax cuts. These companies cry foul on taxes yet rake in millions and billions each year in profits and don't reward their employees who help them achieve the profits they get.

AT&T gave 2 million dollars to help get Trump elected. I do realize companies do donate to one party or the other but still they could have rewarded their employees before Trump was elected since they already earned a lot of money in profits.

You talk about ISIS. Well glad they are minimized no matter who is in office; however, I did hear Al-Qaeda is strengthening again. No president or country is going to wipe out terrorism! I'm not sure who the next big terrorist group will be under Trump or the next president and it is great when any president stops or slows down a group but there will always be another to take it's place.

It is not a "theory" that the economy was growing under Obama and helped carry into the Trump term. Yes, Trump has done things to grow it a lot, but many of us don't like how he did it. I don't find the gutting of regulations and giving corporations huge tax cuts a great thing. Will those of you who support this all be cheering when many of his policies do turn around and bite us in the butt? Gutting the environment will take time to show the damage done but mark my words, it will happen.

I wonder if you do realize with the tax cuts, stock market rising at ridiculous rates will be a short-term thing and eventually this will cause super-sized inflation so all the benefits you and I see in any tax cuts will be swallowed up by that, but the companies that got the tax cuts will still profit hugely.

In my book every time we have seen super-sized increase in stock market, we see super-sized crash. I prefer slow and steady growth.

I guess time will tell. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the holidays.
