Since economics seems to be your thing...have you considered how this affects hospital budgets. Even if they arrive indigent, no coverage, the hospitals are going to go cheaper and cheaper for support services. India looks better and better to them.
Not only is your thought process without moral compassion, it is without consideration of the big picture. By all means, you can save your $50 a year in taxes that they say supports CHIP ( probably less), but was it worth your job? And, for those with a soul, is it worth the health of a nation?
