When working as an MT, or MLS, or whatever, I never felt I was doing what Christ wanted for my life. His message was quite clear, though I chose to ignore it. I continued to hear his voice talking to me, often continuously throughout a laborious, cold night shift, during which I'd receive bad files or no files. He would say, "This, too, shall pass." He kept reminding me that this MT stuff is not how he wanted me to spend my time on earth. The message became louder and louder in time until I finally agreed with his plan and finally moved on. If he had meant me to be an MT/MLS, it would have been a mutually fulfilling experience for both me and my client or employer. This was never the case. Again, the message was loud and clear. In hindsight, I actually feel like I was supporting some kind of evil enterprise. I pray every day that there is some sort of turnaround, but as long as greed prevails, I don't see it happening. Good luck to those of you who are still in it, especially those of you who feel trapped, like you have no other options.
