Until recently I had never heard of the American Bund which held a rally in Madison Square Garden in 1939. I was shocked when I saw a video. 20,000 American flag waving Nazi sympathizers. There were also youth camps right here in the USA where Nazi sympathizer parents sent their children! So much of the more shameful times in our history have been swept under the rug, thus our children cannot learn from the mistakes of our past and may be condemned to repeat them.
