ADHD Free! Anxiety and Depression free, too. - AZMT

I'm in my mid 50s and have struggled with ADHD my entire life.  Anyone who suffers from it knows how devastating it can be, especially in an academic setting, so I'll spare you all that.

I tried everything, including the "new breakthrough" meds.  The only thing that really worked was Adderall, which is speed, and I hated the side effects but took it anyway because it worked.  However, the long-term effects were horrible as my adrenal function was pretty much in the toilet.  Hypoadrenia can cause anxiety, and it did in my case as my anxiety went through the roof.  So, I was forced to stop taking the Adderall, which was the "ONLY" thing (or so I thought) that worked.

Fast forward.  I began experimenting with various supplements after reading up on the neurotransmitter imbalance and accompanying nutritional deficiencies of ADHD, particularly amino acids. 

I also was an abused child so also suffer from lifelong anxiety and depression.  Those are kicked too!  I do take one low-dose Rx on occasion for the anxiety, lorazepam, when it gets really bad but those are rare occasions.

This is the protocol that works for me:

Morning --

Exercise (pre breakfast)

HCF (Happy, Calm, Focused) amino acid supp 3 caps on empty stomach (label dosage)

Attentive Child, 3 wafers (taste like Sweetarts!)

Happy Camper (herbal supp for depression), 2 caps

Adrenal supplements (Dr. Wilson's Original Formulations)

Afternoon --

Adrenal supplements (Dr. Wilson's Original Formulations)

Meditation (CD)

Evening --

Adrenal supplements (Dr. Wilson's Original Formulations)

Warm bath (Mr. Bubble, LOL)

Meditation (CD)

Sleep supp protocol (various, including calcium, Power to Sleep, etc.)

 

Each individual is unique, so of course I'm not saying this will work for everyone.  In fact, it took me about a year playing around with various combinations of things to find out which ones work for me and do not give me nasty side effects.

I hope this helps anyone out there who suffers from this stuff.  The bottom line I want to convey is to not give up hope because there are tons of options nowadays for dealing with this.
