I took the adjusted gross income on my 1040 from last year. Subtracted the new, higher, standard deduction. That gave me my new taxable income total. I then used the published percentage rates to calculate my new total tax.

You can think I'm wealthy if that makes you feel better, but we're in the 12% bracket under both the House and Senate plans.

It's not rocket science. The math is very simple.
