Two of them - next door, across street Posted: Nov 15th, 2017 - 5:39 pm In Reply to: So your neighbors are illegals? That was a DACA recipient is. - nm
Yes. They are. But I do not know their last name. I would fear retaliation. People next door are a Mormon man, a woman he calls his wife who works in ag 6 months, on UI 6 months. Her son is DACA recipient as well and has returned home from college in Utah due to the new law. I actually saw her at store last night, and had been friendly for years, and she pretended she did not see me. I finally said, hey aren't you my neighbor? and she stopped and chatted. I recall her saying her husband's room is a mess and that she refuses to clean it. This is the 2nd Mormon man married to a foreigner (last was a Chinese roommate who came to US as his bride, lived in Utah and moved here). I believe these are arranged marriages. Young couples usually sleep in same bed. I see her leave at 6 am in morning and return at 8 pm each night, across street. This is agricultural region. I do not want to cause trouble with neighbors in that regard. I have dogs in yard and fear they would poison them.
