Germany and here in the U.S. Fritz Kuhn and his youth camps comes to mind. His American movement included tens of thousands here who thought Hitler was the chosen one. They were anti-Semitic, sang the SSB and recited the Pledge of Allegiance, decried communism and American education. I guess some might think they were patriotic Americans? Some did.
