Also, remember to use the correct settings on the dryer! Don't use the timed. The most efficient are the ones that say "Most dry, optimum dry, less dry..." If you use most dry, this will turn dryer off automatically--it's a moisture sensor--when the clothes are completely dried and won't go beyond that except for the cool down. If you choose one of the other settings, you can take them out when they're partially wet, and just let them hang dry, if you have that option somewhere in your home.
Timed dry, on the other hand, will keep them going for whatever you set it for, even if they're already dry.
