The power companies can come to your house and do a blower door test where they can identify air leaks (energy loss) in your home. Fixing/caulking around windows may be recommended, attic insulation. They may have financial help to update appliances and inefficient heating/cooling equipment. They may find safety hazards such as carbon monoxide leaks from gas fireplaces/furnaces.

We signed up for a program where the smart meter can turn off some household zones during peak usage saving us quite a few bucks. If you live in a high solar area, converting to solar may be a good use of dollars.

We put all our TV/entertainment equipment on a circuit breaker we can turn off. Any appliance that goes into "sleep mode/instant on" is using power during the off time.
