The Senate did pass a budget for the first time in many years now and at least we don't have to go through continuing resolutions (ugh).
But neither party wants to get serious about spending reductions for the government. They all think money earned is theirs. That's why they talk about how are we going to pay for this or that if we give "tax cuts." It's our money to begin with not theirs.
The budget was $3.8 trillion last year. Now it’s $4 trillion.
