Tax cuts for the corporations in this country will not bring jobs back or create them. The world of business and otherwise has changed with technology. Society has changed. Things were different back in the days of JFK and Regan.

Let's say Nuance or M-Modal get a big tax break and they have even more money than they do now. Do you think they are going to give the MTs a raise? Do you think they will expand in the U.S.? I very much doubt it. To these corporations it is all about bottom line ($$) and making that profit margin even bigger. CEOs need to make those millions, you know. I think the concept that this will enhance economic growth is very much outdated, and if Trump intends to complete the agenda he campaigned on, while giving lower income people a tax break, the wealthier people and large corporations will have to come through with their fair share to pay for it. Typically in the past if the government gives you some sort of benefit, they take another away. It's a numbers game. Another example, in the county where I live, about 8 years ago real estate property assessments went down significantly. Consequently that would mean less tax dollars to the county. There were quite clever in increasing the tax rate, saying that it would really not cost the taxpayers anything, their payments would remain the same, and the county would receive the same amount of tax dollars. That was fine at the moment, but it really is dirty politics. The assessments are going up again, more tax revenue created as well, but the county says it is time for another tax increase.
