lawyers. That's why Buffet’s secretary is in higher tax bracket than Buffet. There should be NO deductions. You make X amount, you should pay a fixed percentage of X in taxes. Deductions are social engineering.
I also favor corporate tax based on gross sales. That would help the more efficient, and stop subsidizing the less efficient by other tax payers.
My point is, government should not be in business of social engineering, and tax loop holes, by awarding selective deductions. I am for ZERO deductions. Tax should be 10% of your gross income, regardless of how high or how low income. That gives us all MORE FREEDOM to use 90% of our gross income the way we choose.
My removing all deductions, all the incentives for lobbyists and political corruption are gone.
