I wonder about people's ablility to understand basic math - sm

The last figure I saw about Russia's Facebook advertising said they spent $150,000.

The Washington Post says $2,400,000,000 was spent by the Presidential candidates. While the entire 2016 election of Presidential and Congressional candidates cost $6,500,000,000.

Here's the math challenged part: What's the percentage of that $150k?

0.0625% of the Presidential election.
0.0231% of the entire 2016 election.

Interesting that people trying to say Russia played a role don't lay out the numbers in comparison. Or maybe it's enough to say "Russia bought ads, therefore..."
