I guess you can hold a "peaceful protest" at work - if you don't need the job

I have been employed at several different jobs in health care and have never seen or participated in a peaceful protest.

I do know chatting and wasting time was frowned on by managers who realized there was work to be done by hourly employees so I am assuming a peaceful protest is not productive to get the job we were hired to do done.

If I want to protest something (which I do not at this point) I am smart enough to do it on my time and my dime.
