Prayers for the victims of Las Vegas - Faith Is Strength Posted: Oct 5th, 2017 - 4:21 pm
Please, may all of us (as I am sure millions have already) pray for our injured, deceased, and traumatized brothers and sisters who were the victims of such evil and sickness which a man possessed while they enjoyed a country and western concert in Las Vegas. The courage of those who stayed behind to help the wounded and the valliant effort of law enforcement which combined to save hundreds of lives will always remain in our memory. As more and more stories surface about that horrible night, I take comfort in the ways we as Americans rise to the needs of others when tragedy occurs. Whether it be after hurricanes, floods, or earthquakes, we are one Nation under God, and I will always believe that the good people in this country far out number the bad.
Perhaps after this horrible tragedy in Las Vegas, the NFL may choose to refrain from taking a knee, locking arms, or covering their face when the anthem is sung and our flag flies in the wind! I pray that will happen and that the horrible diversity ends!
