He just called it "petty nonsense" and denied he ever considered leaving the government.

He also lavished a sickening amount of praise upon Trump, BUT said Trump had "broken the mold" on foreign policy. Hmmm, another one which could be truthful but also could be taken a different way.

He's a smart cookie there, but again it never seems to matter what they do afterward, if they cross Trump they eventually are tossed.
