is talking about slavery from way back - he is referring to the fact that during the time all of this started there were several situations that made it look like white police officers were shooting black men without cause. Even if he were referring to republicans being the slavery party, it still does not excuse Trump from sticking his nose into it and trying to cause another civil war. He should take his own advice that he gave Obama a couple of years ago - focus on the job not on nonsense! The NFL players only reacted because of his ridiculous involvement in a show of solidarity for their fellow players. I think the kneel is dumb, but I think the president was dumber to keep it up, but we all know that he loves playing kindergarten with anyone!
