I had a fall years ago and had a contre-coup injury, a small hemorrhage and broke my temporal bone. I was off work for a month and a half and had trouble with speech and ADL's. Head injuries vary in their seriousness but I would advise taking very good care of yourself and not going back to work until you are sure you are better. Mine left me with sequelae to this day but it was a different area that got the impact than yours. Don't hesitate to see a neurologist if you have problems with anything and make them listen!
