I don't understand how people can forget what the economy was like in 2009 when he was sworn in - people losing their jobs, losing their homes, Wall Street in the dumper, Detroit about to go under. I was laid off at the end of 2008 right before the collapse and I remember clearly how scared people were and how many took a really long time to find a job. He was too soft on foreign affairs, i.e. Syria for one, but as far as where this country started when he was sworn in and where it was when Trump was sworn in was like night and day. I didn't vote for Obama, but I do give him credit for working with an almost impossible situation and bringing us back from the edge - despite McConnell and Ryan doing everything they could to stop him.
