for 7-1/2 years, it was Bush did it. it was Bush's fault per Obama. Although he was president, he never took the blame for anything. He never tried to work with the Republicans either, even though so many people used the argument that he bent over backwards to work with them. No, he didn't unless you call trashing the Republicans at every corner working with them.
BTW, another post stated that Republicans had control of Congress through Obama's whole presidency. No, they did not. They had Senate control from 2003-2007 then the Dems took over and had control of the Senate from 2009-2015 and the House from 2007-2011.
There were 2 years when the Senate was a tie and that's when the majority would change the following election.
