and why has the Republican controlled Senate and House not done anything.

On April 7,(2015) the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit dismissed a lawsuit that challenged the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA. It was a unanimous ruling in that case, Crane v. Johnson . . .
