I agree with your points. You didn't address the earthquakes and volcanos, nor - Truthhurts

the fact that more people have social media. More people have cell phones. There is more media reporting these things every year. You never heard of all these things happening 40-50 years ago (even longer)unless the national news services picked it up and then it would be a small paragraph, not blaring headlines.

Earthquakes and volcanoes go through "phases." The Ring of Fire has been very quiet over the past. I can remember one year where it was very active but quieted down until now. earthquake in Alaska? 1964 (part of the Ring). Iceland is preparing for their largest volcano to erupt any day now.

In 1959, Yellow Stone had a large earthquake. I remember it very well because my parents and I just got back from visiting 2 weeks earlier and the quake was a doozy because my dad felt it sitting at his desk (we live in PA).

Let's not forget the Madras (or Madrid?) fault line in the middle of the country through MO. from north to south. That was a horrible quake but hasn't happened in how many years.

The word is "cycles." This planet goes through many of them. That's all it is but people pay more attention because of what I said in the first paragraph.
