That's called weather. Temperatures are higher than normal in the western US, right now, but lower than normal in the east. Weather.com explains what's going on with the jet stream and how that's affecting the temps.
Let's say I agree with you and the earth needs to be saved. What do you plan to do about it? They still haven't been able to prove what humans are doing that's causing the problem. I know they cite rising CO2 levels, but if that was the case we'd be in a lot worse shape than we are now.
In any event, reducing CO2 emissions isn't going to happen.
Even if you took all the cars in the world off the road it wouldn't help. I'm not even saying replace the cars with electric, which also has issues since so many power plants still run on coal. I'm saying get rid of all the cars period. It wouldn't make a dent in the CO2 levels.
The 15 largest container ships put out as much pollution as all the world's cars combined. Fifteen! There are more than 51,000 container ships worldwide. (Link below.) Are you going to get rid of them too? Completely stop international trade? We haven't even discussed airplanes yet...
