Yes. People I know and love (a lot of whom are family) will be punished for no crime other than the fact that they were not born in the US. These are people who left entire livelihoods and lives behind to make a better life in the US - they expected America to give them the life and happiness they could never find in their country.

My relatives in the US who I know will be messed over because of this are people who have been serving the country for years - one of my uncles is a doctor there who takes in uninsured people (no question asked), and I have a childhood friend who has been living there for 15 years and is hoping to become a doctor soon. Trump is taking their lives and their dreams away.

And this is exactly why America never deserved the sacrifices of my people.
