Surprise you? That a black person would take issue with the police non-response and tacit approval of White Supremacist actions?
Cops had better figure out how to do their jobs, although, I think this decision was above their pay grades to "stand down." Funny, the last "stand down" controversy, the Conservatives accused all sorts of moral outrage....now not so much....after all it was only to protect liberals and blacks.
In socioligical study terms, of course, attacking police officers is wrong and murder, but it is a VERY noticeable form of protest. This guy must have thought it worth it. Scary thing is that others may develop that same individual self-worthlessness and make further statements.
