You do what I say or I will get you, my pretty!!!! Something has got to give soon with him!

I think it is time the Repubs stand up to Trump - sm

After all the nasty, ugly and disrespectful things Trump said about McCain in the past, and McCain ignoring it, he finally spoke up earlier this week and said, "The president needs to realize we (meaning Congress) do not work for him. We are not his subordinates, we are his equal."

Trump is calling out the Repubs who are against the health bill in its current form, saying Murkowski let the country down. BULL! These are both elected government officials elected by voters. He needs to stop acting like he is doing his job by trying to tell them how to do theirs.

Murkowski, McCain, Hoeven and Rubio were all - reelected AFTER voting for

Rubio’s amnesty.

Alaska got rid of her once. She cheated her way back in with a write-in campaign.

Murkowsky was reelected last Nov. having cheated to take over the seat from her father in the first place should have kept her from winning another term.

She actually lost the last GOP primary up there, then went on to run as an independent and won. She was a write in candidate.

The left whips their party to vote in line all the time. Why is this any different?

Call them out Mr. President ! Each and every one !! Let the voters know.

That is not the point - - it doesn't matter

which senator it was. He is using playground bully tactics to get his way and that is wrong and extremely UN-Presidential!

She also voted no on defunding Planned Parenthood. - I remember once she said

[ In Reply To ..]
"The Affordable Care Act has failed in so many ways, but there are elements within it that deserve to be saved and taxpayer dollars should never be used to pay for abortions, BUT I will not vote to deny Alaskans access to the health services that Planned Parenthood provides”

My grandmother once said that anything anyone ever says before the word "but" never actually means anything.

Chuck Schumer will appreciate her vote. Why vote for a Republican who votes like a Democrat?

I thought Alaskans had a pioneering spirit. I guess they like the welfare state too.

This is where the Democrats would get their majority - leader to step in and threaten/scold.

[ In Reply To ..]
Oh yeah, we don't really have a majority leader with balls.

Our 2 parties represent drastically different paths, but - both parties are out of touch

with regular Americans. Decisions being made today are overturning the country’s founding ideals.

I remember when Obama took revenge on states - rejecting his healthcare exchanges.

How did you feel about that?

I feel it is - wrong no matter

which idiot does it, but today I am only talking about the current idiot!

Thanks for posting. I forgot about that. - Does the OP consider this infantile,

too?

Look up^^^ - THat was me

[ In Reply To ..]
the OP! Still just talking about the recent idiot - not the last one!

Apparently she's just as infantile. The Senate Energy - and Natural Resource Committe,

[ In Reply To ..]
led by Sen. Lisa Murkowski, delayed a vote to confirm several Trump administration appointees on Thursday after she was criticized by a Cabinet member over her health care vote (Wash Times)

McConnell can replace her in a heartbeat.

This will affect Alaskans more than anyone else.

I remember Ted Cruz once saying politicians spend - 95% of their time on reelection.

This is why I'm for term limits. If politicians lose their next election, they still cushy pensions.

Healthcare is a huge issue. The slogans the Obama admin used to push it were often intentional lies, “If you like your plan you can keep it. If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.”

Any reasonable person could see that wouldn’t be the case. And the fact that anyone principled could vote for a plan that their leader, Nancy Pelosi, said had to be passed before it could be read is mind blowing.

So when someone here makes a comment about Trump or Republicans being infantile, I just shake my head.

Pure politics.

Speaking of infantile, Lindsey Graham proposed a bill - to make it illegal for Trump to fire

[ In Reply To ..]
Mueller. Let’s review high school civics 101.

For bill to become a law you have to get both houses of Congress to totally agree with the bill’s written language. Then you have to get the President’s signature. Failing the last step you need enough votes (66%) opposing the veto to over ride it.

Even Sesame Street got it right.

Does anybody remember School House Rock. "I'm just a bill"

I think it was to - send a message!

kind of like Trump threatening the Alaska senator on Twitter. I do like to watch Lindsey Graham though, he always make me laugh! Reminds me of my dad - always a silly wisecrack!
