Now you know patriotic values are not in vogue now, - you're not supposed to be happy

about less people on food stamps.

You have to remember in 1984, Ronald Reagan was President and people were proud of their country.

Millenials only have George W. Bush and B. Hussein Obama to look at....Bush was patriotic but feckless and let everybody roll him over, while B. Hussein hates America with every fiber of his being.

These things go in cycles. Not sure if the go past the 1980’s when it comes to history anymore. It's been rewritten.

Trump eliminated 860 Obama era regulations. - It's getting the economy rolling.

Some of these articles people post here are enabled by people’s naivety about money, what it is, and how its created. I thinks it confusion between value, productivity & money.

Probably you were breaking rules without even knowing about them and now they are gone.

If the average American commits three felonies a day without realizing it, the average small business owner probably commits twenty.

Homelessness is always brought up when there is a - Republican president.

I always wondered what happened to the glue sniffers of the - 90s, many are meth heads and

alcoholics.

You will get more of whatever you subsidize. Funny how that works.

In my state of Colorado, we've had an uptick of - homeless and panhandlers since

marijuana was legal.

I saw a women panhandling with children outside of our store. At the end of the day, she got into a van with other women and children. In some cases, people do this as a kind of job.

Homeless stories have been enjoying greater frequency - since Trump was elected.

Even though they were homeless BEFORE he was elected.

$$$Trillions for housing, food, Medicaid. What happened?

Maybe there is a reason - homelessness is back

in the news! Here are a few articles regarding Obama and his approach to the homeless problem - one of the first things Trump did was was to sign an Executive Order rescinding Obama's reduction of mortgage insurance rates for FHA loan holders. The practical outcome of that move will be higher mortgage payments: an FHA borrower with a $200,000 mortgage will pay $500 more in 2017 than they would have without the rule change. It is not clear whether this is an indication of long-term policy or a simple one-off move.

Opening Doors, also an Obama-era initiative, was the first federal program designed to prevent and end homelessness. Since its beginning in 2010, overall homelessness has dropped by 14 percent. Homelessness by veterans is down nearly 50 percent. These results are due to the collaboration between HUD and the US Interagency Council on Homelessness.[1]

The housing market has grown and stabilized since the crisis of 2009, but housing problems persist in both urban and rural America. What changes can we expect as a new administration turns its attention to housing issues? Just remember - Trump is a landlord, sometimes linked to being not a very good one, so what do you think is going to happen?

It would have been more cost effective to stop making - American citizens homeless to

begin with. Maybe if he'd stop regulating whole industries out of business these people would have jobs and could pay their own way.

Typical liberals: create a problem so they can "solve" it. Throw more money at it.

Stupid Obama never thought about the consequences of bringing in a million refugees, not to mention allowing tens of millions of illegal to flood in. Did he think that would create more housing? Stupid is as stupid does. We don't need more housing, we need fewer idiots in charge!

Veteran homeless drops by 50%? I call BS on this. - I've read the opposite from too many

other legitimate news resources over the past number of years to buy this.

Maybe they died while waiting for an appointment. I guess that's one way of getting them off the street.

We don't need anymore bubbles. If once understands - ecomonics this is a good thing.

Why should a person making $9.00 an hour get a $100,000 mortgage? Bush tried to warn us before.

The FHA thinks it can cut insurance rates. Didn’t we some problems with them before? How about the no income verification loans? Defaults are bound to happen.

Back in the seventies when I was selling real estate, we expected buyers to make a 20% down payment!

As usual, there is a little bit more to this story...

The mortage insurance is tax deductible anyway. - nm

Now that Obama is no longer president, it's time for the - media to shine more light on the homeless.

This will be blamed on Trump.

And they can even blame global warming, for intensifying the monsoonal flooding. Which then can be blamed on Trump, because of pulling out of the Paris global warming deal.

In one way or another, these stories will cast blame on Trump. If only we spent more money, the homeless would be safe. If only we were still in the Paris climate thing, then mother earth would temper her monsoons and not cause such flooding.. That’s how it goes.

The homeless just appeared on Nov.9, 2016, - just like magic!

For 8 years we didn't hear much about homeless. Did they go on vacation?

This is the way the liberal media creates shock value.

Republican president, homeless rediscovered by the media.

Like night follows day.

How many of these are in sanctuary cities? - Where were all these homeless

for the past eight years?

They only come out in Republican years.

You know, like cicadas.

They were in shelters with public funding - That cut-throat Republicans have
