Republicans have some deep thinking

Posted: Jul 21, 2017

Most of us know that this whole administration is filled with cons and shady characters.  How long will the republicans stay "loyal" to him?  He's threatening Mueller who is head of the investigation against members of his administration and him.  Republicans better wake up if they want to save themselves.

No matter what Trump supporters think, no matter how much they blame Hillary or Obama, this gang is going to go down.  Trumps actions show there is stuff to hide. If he had nothing to hide, he would be letting the investigation go on without all the stink he is making about it.  I know if I were innocent, I would say "bring it on."

Why do you think - old and burned out

he is asking about his ability to pardon himself and his family? Think it's because he hasn't done anything wrong?

You don't understand what he's doing. - sm

There will be Republican majorities for the next 12 years. Assuming Armageddon doesn't happen first. :)

You make the mistake of responding to what he shows on the surface.

I don't think - he even

[ In Reply To ..]
understands what he is doing - how the heck can you? He is so out of his depth and shows signs of ADHD by running from here to there and never getting anywhere! He needs to focus!
He's been focusing on important matters but the media - Truthhurts

doesn't say a word about it, unless it's all bad news.

The jobs ARE coming back, the stock market IS at new highs, he's holding conferences with different areas of businesses and government officials every day. He's also met with heads of a lot of other countries .

Not getting anything done? That's because you don't hear about it!
Well if that were true - how do you know?
[ In Reply To ..]
Secret pipeline for Trump supporters to hear what he is really doing behind the scenes? The stock market has been going up since Obama was in charge - Where are these jobs that are coming back? He is not getting anything of substance done - just signing executive orders to roll back anything Obama did to make sure the people are not protected from Wall Street or pollutants - that's all he has done!
I watch C-Span LIVE. Watch the conferences, - Truthhurts

watch the circus in Congress, watch the hearings (which are a circus in itself). He takes the ideas from the conferences to make his decisions/plans for future legislation. He holds conferences with Congress to try to get them to work together and pass legislation.

The reason the stock market was going up when Obama was in charge was because it couldn't go down any lower or the country would be bankrupt! It went up from 8,000 to 18,000, then dropped 900 points to around 17,000 (16.4% in 8 years) and that was a struggle because of the low GDP.

Since Trump became president, the market has gone up. It started after he was elected in Nov. It jumped 257 points almost immediately and hasn't stopped. It went up to over 21,000. That's a 16% gain since election day and that's only 9 MONTHS!

There's a lot of optimism in the business world and hopefully, we will stay on an "even keel."
Assume the best in your "opponent" and start from there - sm

As an example, on one side you have rabid Pubs who want to deport all 12 million illegals no questions, no exceptions. (The situation during the campaign.) How do you bring them closer to the center?

Contrast what Trump did and said compared to what other Pubs were doing/saying at the same time.

When you look at what Trump did, he actually brought them closer to the center.

I put the blame for Trump on the Dems. They played a very significant part in his rise to power. He continues to play them and the media to his advantage.

He's like a drunken kung fu master. You won't see it if you let him trigger you. You have to take a few steps back.

All there is is surface - old and burned out

You really need to ditch the tin foil hat and rose colored glasses.

Obama/Clinton/Holder/Lynch/Comey/Schumer. Dems inability to exhibit one ounce of objectivity is truly something to behold and more appropriately be terrified of. If not for double standards, Dems have no standards at all.

You forgot some of 'em :) - Truthhurts

Lerner, Koskinen, Rice,. Then there's those in Congress: Whatshername-Schultz, Mad Maxine, Al Green, Pelousy, Jackson-Lee, Cummings, Dirty Harry (even though he's retired), Menendez, and even more.

All have been under investigations during the Obama years but because most of the investigations took place under Holder/Lynch, nothing came of them. There was plenty of proof but it all got swept under the rug.

Right now there are 3 under investigation by the House Ethics Committee: Conyers, Lujan, and CoS for John Lewis, Michael Collins.

Oops. "You don't understand" post should be here - nm

Think about this: Say you, as a democratic liberal in the administration, - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
with a democratic president, but there are holdovers from the Republican administration, and you are under investigation for shaking hands with a representative of a country we are against. You know the media is lying but the lies keep building until..... Then a special counsel is appointed and he or she hires all Republican legal eagles who hate the democratic president, and the mass media hysteria keeps saying you're guilty of treason or something just as evil, what WOULD YOU do?

iMHO,I don't think he'll fire Mueller. it will only make him look worse and the media will probably have strokes and die a slow death (hmmm, not a bad idea!) :) because they just won't be able to push the lies fast enough.

His anti-Mueller posturing is all a show - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
He knows he has nothing to worry about, but he's feeding the negative coverage of himself on purpose. That way, it will be a bigger deal when he's exonerated.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Trump turned out to be the leaker.

Trump is so good at playing the Dems - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Let's take the Russia collusion narrative. Trump let that play out and let the media and Dems overplay it. Full media saturation. Treason! Obstruction! The whole 9 yards.

What did he do with it? Voter fraud investigation.

Dems and the media spent the last 6-12 months accusing Trump of Russia collusion and conspiring to steal the election. After all that, they now have to figure out a way to fight him on his voter fraud investigation.

I can't think of way to do that. Can you? Dems have two choices:
1. Admit there was no voter fraud and collusion, therefore Trump is the legitimate duly elected President.
2. Keep playing the collusion angle, but somehow deny that we need a voter fraud investigation.

Either way, it doesn't matter what they say at this point. They gave Trump the opening and a legitimate reason (Russian interference in the election) to do a voter fraud investigation. It's brilliant. How do people not see what's going on here?

I doubt he - is that smart!

[ In Reply To ..]
It is more like it just sticks in his throat that he did not win the popular vote and wants to make sure he proves that millions of illegals voted - NOT! The Russia narrative as you so distressingly call it is starting to bug him because he is afraid he will get caught doing something illegal - which he probably did. You lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas - and people like Manafort are definitely dogs!

Refusing to believe he's smart is as good an answer as any - I suppose sm

[ In Reply To ..]
I did ask how people don't see it. I thank you for the response.

Note: I don't deny that not winning the popular vote bothers him to no end. It's possible, but I know it's impossible to know what he's really thinking.

My point is, put aside how you feel about him and look at what's actually happening. Analyze the events not how you feel about the events.

Even if you believe he's the biggest idiot who ever lived, the most logical course is to assume he's a genius when you strategize how to take him down. Do you disagree?

Clintons lay down with all sorts of pigs and you idolize them - Same w/Farouk Obama

Clintons broke all kinds of laws with Obama helping...now you want to star the faux scream about decency...as usual no credibility, but keep trying.

I Do Not Understand The Democratic Way Of ThinkingOct 09, 2012
I have had numerous "debates" with some of my friends and family on the democratic way of thinking.
