So what do you think of the proposed

I know it's not final but this is a little bit of what they are proposing.

Just another money-grab for the greedy. - :(

If you are referring to the insurance companies, Obama - did exactly the same thing. So we

the taxpayer were paying not only for other people's subsidies, we were also paying for state exchanges and insurance companies. That's how he got them to go along with it. Plus they though they would have many people signing up. That did not happen because to cover everything that Obamacare mandated, they had to charge an arm and a leg.

The only difference in this new bill is the penalty is gone and the

Costs are going to keep rising just like college tuition because - they have no relationship to

the market. Market forces determine what something costs and when the government pays for something no matter what it costs, that does not reflect true market prices.

It's just going to keep getting worse.
One more thing, another reason cost will keep rising. - Doctors have to pay such high

malpractice insurance. How many times have you done an ER note where the patient comes in with a simple headache and they do an MRI or CT scan to CYA or they will get sued.

It is not going to pass. - Enough said.

It's the same as Obamacare basically. - nm

Did they tell us if we like our doctor we can keep our doctor, or - we will save $2500 a year?

That turned out to be a lie.

That one is really getting old. We'll see, if this - passes, how much it

won't be better than Obamacare but those who keep bringing up right talking points will still blame Obama and think the pubs gave a great plan.

The good. HSA will be strengthened and states have a choice - what to cover, unlike Obamacare telling them

mandating what is covered.

The individual and employer mandate will be gone. With the employer mandate under Obamacare employers had to provide health insurance but he exempted many businesses and union (remember, he did this w/o allowing a bill to be passed changing the law at will). So maybe businesses will start hiring full-time again.

Insurance companies are pulling out of the exchanges because they had to raise their rates 45% in order to cover everything Obamcare mandated, and who is going to buy a policy that costs that much, so maybe this will change.

This is why it would be a good idea to be able to buy across state lines, to get into a pool of people with similar needs. That's the bad. This bill does not allow that.

The media says it will cut back on Medicaid expansion in 10 years, but after 10 years they always find more money for Medicaid, so I don't believe this is. This happens time after time.

Insurance companies are pulling out of the exchanges, not because of market forces because health care does not really reflect that. It's because of Obamacare exchanges are not working.

People will lose insurance through their jobs - and that is good?

It is good that now insurance companies can charge a fortune if you have a preexisting condition?

Insurance companies are pulling out of exchanges because they were paying out too much money for sick people while the healthy young people didn't have insurance and governors didn't take the expansion.

We'll just wait and see what is in the final plan but as of now there is no "heart" in it at all, only help for the big insurance companies.

Trump's Proposed BudgetMar 17, 2017
is a disgrace.  We already spend more on the military than the next 7 countries combined.  They also need to learn how to budget and save.  I would spend anything on those who have been in combat but when the military spends millions for redesigned uniforms and the budget cuts meals on wheels it makes me sick.  And the tax cut for the 1% hasn't even come yet. ...
